A little bit about me

My name is Brooklynn Respress, and I am a 20-year-old Criminal Justice student at Bethune-Cookman University. I am originally from Kissimmee, Florida and currently live in Daytona Beach. I do not smoke or drink, and I am reliable, patient, and attentive to children’s needs.

I have extensive childcare experience. I am one of six siblings, which taught me responsibility and patience early on. At 16, I began working through CareerSource at a summer camp in Poinciana with children ages 0–13, where I also served as a volleyball coach. I worked there every summer until age 18. I have also babysat for families in my neighborhood and helped care for my 2-year-old and 12-year-old nephews.

Professionally, I worked as a floater teacher at Kiddie Academy of Annapolis and Millersville and later as an Infant Co-Teacher at Childtime of Hanover, caring for infants ages 0–11 months. I truly enjoy creating a safe, nurturing environment for children. i have no criminal record and i’m open to drug test.

OMG i taught my fist infant to walk my 2nd week working at my first daycare i was so happy, very proud of the baby & proud of myself. i just love being a teacher and actively seeing myself make a difference.
