A little bit about me

Hi! I’m transitioning back to St. Louis and looking for a part time position while I get fully settled. I’m 28 years old with a Master of Social Work. I worked in a daycare center in college in which I loved working with all age groups! I have two nephews (3 & 2) which I see often and babysit. After college I started a position as an adoption specialist which I worked with birthmothers and adoptive families through the adoption process. This was a rewarding job but as you can imagine - very emotionally exhausting as well. It brought me so much joy but I decided to transition in to higher education. I love helping people. I want to help anyone and everyone. It makes me incredibly happy to know I help someone along their own journey in life. I love working with my students now and supporting them in all life’s stages. I find fulfilling work to be helping people in anyway I can.
