A little bit about me

Hello!
My name is Caitlin! I am looking to babysit/nanny for a family in the south towns during the summer 2023. I received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and minor in sociology. I am currently working on my masters degree and will be receiving my licensing in mental health counseling for youth. While in college for my undergrad I worked in the infant and toddler room at a daycare. I was responsible for four infants at a time and I am CPR and first aid certified. I am currently a first grade teacher at a charter school in Buffalo with 22 children in my class. I am very responsible and love children.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at a daycare in the infant/toddler room ages newborn to 2 1/2! I also volunteered teaching youth kickboxing!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy lots of outdoor activities! I believe spending time in nature can build their confidence. There's a lot less structure than most types of indoor play and they can choose how they interact with the nature around them. This gives them practice managing their own actions and encourages creativity and imagination. Indoor activities I enjoy are hands on crafts!
