A little bit about me

I'm a mom of one little boy, who is about two and a half at the moment. Being a mom is one of my greatest accomplishments and joys. I would like to share my maternal instincts and patience with others and provide childcare for parents who might need a few days a week or full-time care, by a responsible and trustworthy mom. My family and I are moving from Minnesota to Estrella Mountain Ranch in early April (as of now) and my son and I are hoping to include a new friend or two into our days. We would be offering care at our home, which we will hopefully be selecting soon. We hope to have a dedicated room for playing and learning. We hope to take daily walks and park visits and frequent the splash pad and pools in the community.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have nannied since I graduated highschool in 2013. I alternated from nannying and customer service before becoming an esthetician. I graduated and found out I was expecting my little boy and I could not be separated from him. My husband and I found a way to make it work for me to care for our son, but I want to contribute to our lives and what better way than to just expand what I'm doing already. I have cared for many families, my longest position being 3.5/4 years for two girls who at the time of starting were 1.5 (oldest) to 5 and a few years later came the second and I watched her from one month old to almost 3. They were so dear to me and I still have a relationship with the family. I've been a full-time patient parent since my son was born in November 2021 and I learn new things about parenting every day.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

We enjoy stroller walks, going to the park, swimming, digging in dirt, real life activities like grocery shopping and cleaning. I like to encourage littles to help our within their abilities and they're so proud when they realize they can do some of the things us grown ups can. Life is all about balance, and I think kids just love to go go go and I do my best to keep them busy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a trusted person for the parents of the child you care for. As a parent myself I know how hard it is to entrust your child's safety with someone who you are still getting to know yourself. You can feel confident in my ability to protect and keep your littles safe. My eyes are always looking out for any child in my care, whether its out in nature or playing on climbing toys.
I think it's important for a child to feel comfortable and happy when they go to be with their nanny or daycare person so everyone feels good about their routine.
