I used to babysit children on my country from 4 yo to 8 yo but in a volunteer way. Since I’m 17.

I enjoy going out with them for a walk, or taking them to nearby parks to play, also have small picnics and talk and talk to them. At home I really like what it is to play table games or make crafts or art. Or sometimes put on children's music and dance and sing with them :)

I think it’s to make a safety place for the kids and me empathetic and patience and In a respectful way playful to make a good environment with them :), no forgetting the rules of course
My experience with special needs children...
I used to worker as a language therapist assistant in my country for children with special needs so I used to take care of them, make their food, help them to go to the toilet, to eat, to play, they need a lot of help and patience and a nice mood :)
The most important part about being a nanny...
Seeing them saying that they like you just because you play and talk a lot with them and you understand them in a certain way. Or just sitting all together chatting about some silly stuff and seeing them smiling is such a wonderful moment
