I love old Disney movies—like the real ones, not the remakes. If your kid's old enough, I’ll definitely make sure they know who Hannah Montana is (and maybe even Jennifer Aniston). I’m into making fun, healthy snacks too since I love going to the gym and staying active. Basically, I try to keep things fun, upbeat, and positive.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve been babysitting for as long as I can remember, especially my younger siblings who range from age 3 to 10. My 10-year-old brother has severe autism called Phelan-McDermid Syndrome—he’s nonverbal and can’t communicate in typical ways. Taking care of him daily has taught me so much patience and understanding, and it’s given me real confidence in working with kids on the spectrum, even if their needs aren’t as severe.
