Hi! A brief introduction about me I'm currently a university student majoring in Nursing, with two completed minors in Nutrition and Psychology. My goal is to become a pediatric travel nurse and eventually a nurse practitioner. Childcare has been a part of my life from a young age, thanks to my mother who has 15+ years of experience in the industry as well as her own daycare back in my hometown Fort Worth, TX. I began helping at her daycare at a young age and later started working full-time during summers over the last six years. For the last two years in addition to being a university student I’ve worked as a part-time substitute teacher gaining more experience in both the education and childcare field. I would describe myself as passionate, reliable, and ready to support however I can! I’m open to talking more, meeting prior, and arranging the best dates and times for care.

The most important part about being a nanny to me is creating a safe, nurturing environment where both the child and the parent feel completely comfortable and supported. With my years of hands-on experience in the daycare setting I’ve learned how essential it is to build trust and consistency.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with special needs children includes a month of substituting within a special needs classroom and a Deaf Education program within the school district I sub for. While I’m not formally certified, I served as the lead substitute teacher with support from an assistant for tasks such as feeding and changing. This experience gave me valuable insight into working with children who have diverse needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of the most meaningful parts of this job is building lasting relationships. I still have a family back home who keeps in touch with me to this day they even send me holiday gifts, which means so much. It’s moments like those that remind me how impactful and appreciated this work truly is.
