I am currently making this profile in advance, as I will not be available to start a position until the beginning of next school year. Over the past year and currently I have been a nanny to a sweet family of 5 with three young children (1, 4, & 5). I will continue to work for this family until the end of summer. Previously I nannied two older children (7 & 10) I have also been blessed to work as a teacher's aide (Pre-K 3) to two wonderful private schools. As well as a daycare worker (Infant-Elementary) and camp counselor for xx. I am First Aid and CPR certified. I love caring for children of all ages, and love seeing the impact I have on them! In the fall of 2016, I will attend Sam Houston to major in Family and Consumer Science. I have not yet made a schedule for fall so I am willing to sit down and work with the family on what their needs may be, while also making sure it can work with school. I look forward to hearing from you and your family!

Hello, My name is Crystal. I am a 22-year-old parent to a wonderful 16-month-old baby girl, and a college student and a nanny/babysitter. My experience in childcare started 11 years ago when my first sibling was born, soon after I had 2 more siblings. By the time I was 15, I had 3 little sisters whom I often cared for when our parents were working, the girls are now 7, 9, and 13 years old. During high school, I babysat for several family members and family friends on the weekends and during school breaks. After graduating from high school, I enrolled into college and began looking for my a nanny job. From October 2011 to April 2012, I started my first nanny job caring for a young girl in Cypress, Texas. The job included picking up the child from school, getting various tasks done such as homework, chores and errands. During this time, I also provided care on weekend date nights for families with children ages 2-7. In July 2013 to May 2014, I accepted a nanny position for a wonderful family in Katy. I babysat their 16-month-old daughter 4 days a week while the parents work. The family allows me to bring my daughter with me to their home everyday, which works out great because our girls play together. A typical work day for me involves caring for the girls, playing with them, doing laundry, light house cleaning and of course, feeding and snacks. On weekends, I am usually sitting for other families with children 6 months to 8 years of age. I also have experience with twins; I babysit a set of 23-month-old boy/girl twins once a month, when the parents go out on date night. Currently, I will not be available to babysit until July 3 of 2014. In the beginning of May 2014, my daughter and I are will be leaving out of the country for several weeks to visit her dad. We will be returning to the U. S. on July 2nd, at this time I will be actively seeking a part/full time nanny care job. I am hoping to find a loving family who will see me as a new member of the family and not just their nanny. Overall, I am a very loving and fun person; I am great at multitasking and getting things done in a timely manner. Due to the fact that I am a parent, I completely understand the hassle of trying to find a trustworthy and dependable sitter. I promise to be responsible, dependable and care for other children as much as I care for my own daughter.

I had my very first overnight babysitting job, when I was only 12 years old. I was the family's favorite baby sitter, and they trusted me to provide overnight care for their three children (ages 4,3, and 10 months), while they went away for a romantic weekend. My mother was right around the corner; but still, that was a lot of responsibility to give a 12 year old girl. I did very well, though, and the excellent references I received at that time, launched my nanny career. I have always loved children. My goal in life was to grow up and have children of my own. Even when I was working on my degree in Elementary Education, I was dreaming of the day I would become a mother. Eventually, at age 26, I gave birth to my first child. Soon after, my second child was born. Soon after that, my third child was born. Only 6 weeks later, I decided to become a foster care provider for 2 adorable girls with Down's Syndrome. Caring for these five children was exhausting at times, but absolutely the most exhilerating and rewarding thing I had ever done. So...I gave birth to one more child. I did have the soundness of mind to stop adding family members at this time. Raising these six children provided me with invaluable experience.I certainly know the heart of a mother, and respect the fact that she wants the absolute best care for her children. Two of my children were diagnosed with ADD(H). So, raising them has given me invaluable tutoring experience as well. Before starting my own family, I worked as a live-in nanny, and babysitter for numerous families. I also worked as a day care teacher during that time. About 5 years ago, when my youngest child became a teenager, I realized how much I missed being around the little ones, and have worked again as a Nanny in several homes since then. You will see, if you meet me and I share my references with you, that I truly love woking with children and that I provide quality care.

I am a happy person. I bring sunshine with me wherever I go. I enjoy the up’s and down’s of life. I try to live my life in an optimistic way. My past job experiences have been fantastic. I have worked with children as young as newborn to pre teens. My first nanny position was part-time for newborn twins as well as two older children aged seven and eight. My duties included extensive housekeeping and meal preparation. I also had transportation responsibilities and helped with homework when needed. I carried these skills as well as many others into my next nanny positions. For the past five years I have been working as a full time nanny for twin boys. When I started the children were ten weeks old. I currently hold the position; the twins are five years old now. Caring for the boys has allowed me time to work part time babysitting jobs with other wonderful families. I enjoyed all of the past and present positions I have had as a nanny

I have experience working in two day cares, one being a Montessori school. I have elementary school teaching experience at the kindergarten, third, and fifth grade levels. I was in the ECP program in my high school for 2 years - Early Childhood Professions. We had an onsite preschool and I was a head teacher. During this time I created lesson plans and taught the material to 3-5 year olds. I also assisted in preparing and serving lunch. In addition to this, I assisted in the nursery. I was a nanny for a wonderful family during the summer of 2009. I cared for a five year old girl and a twelve year old boy. It was a great experience. In addition to my previous child care experience, I have one younger brother (13 years difference in age) and have helped care for him since he was born. I have participated in tutoring at two local elementary schools and got a volunteer of the year award for my school district. I was also a teacher at the on-site preschool for 2 years during high school. I have been involved in education for the past six years in one capacity or another. Between summer jobs, gaining experience in day cares, and student teaching, I have been constantly working with students and their families.

I was raised in a family of 15 (yes, fifteen!) and developed an interest in child care with my family by helping with my 5 younger siblings. I've owned and operated 2 Registered Day Care facilities throughout the years that followed the State's guidelines for proper child care, cleanliness and Early Childhood Development Education. I taught my daughter how to read and write before she entered Pre-K. (My daughter is now 32yo, who has a 7yo child. I also have a son who is 35yo. Both of my children are doing well and are living on their own.) I've earned and continue to maintain a reputation of being a 5-Star, High Profile Nanny. I've extended my child care services to Accountants, Attorneys, Doctors, Nurses, Police Officers, SAHMs and many others. I welcome the opportunity to provide quality child care for your family. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
