Hi! I’m Canye,a dependable, caring, and attentive caregiver based in Wildwood, Florida. I recently stepped away from my career as a Dental Assistant to return to school and pursue education in Radiology. This transition has given me more flexibility in my schedule while I focus on school, and I’m excited to use that time to provide dependable and meaningful care to a family who needs it.
Although my professional experience is in healthcare rather than traditional childcare, caring for people has always been a major part of my work. I’m accustomed to working in an environment where safety, trust, communication, and being attentive to someone’s individual needs are extremely important. I get that when a parent welcomes a caregiver into their home they aren’t just looking for someone to watch their child they’re trusting that person with someone incredibly important to them.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experience caring for children in my personal life. As the oldest of five siblings, I’ve grown up around children and have experience helping care for younger siblings. Professionally, I also worked in pediatric focused dentistry and volunteered with the College of Dentistry’s Super Sealant program, as well as their annual event providing free dental care to children under 17. In my most recent dental office, I participated in an event providing free dental care while educating children and families about proper oral hygiene. These experiences allowed me to work directly with children of different ages, help them feel comfortable, communicate with them patiently, and create a positive experience in an unfamiliar healthcare setting. While I have not worked as a paid nanny in my recent years, caring for children and helping them feel safe and comfortable is something I have experience with.
