Working in a summer camp environment for 4 years. I had responsibilities including being in charge of a group of 10-14 kids. I worked with ages 6-12, as well as being a lifeguard which allowed me to become CPR and first aid certified.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love spending time outdoors when the weather is nice. I am also a very artistic person, so doing arts and crafts is one of my favorite activities to do with kids.
The most important part about being a nanny...
is making sure the kids feel comfortable with me and like me. I find that kids are so much more willing to listen when the person asking them to do certain tasks is kind and is willing to help them be successful.
