A little bit about me

I have always had a love for caring for children. I began babysitting professionally 8 years ago after volunteering hundreds of hours at a local in-home daycare. I have experience with children ages 8 weeks to 11 years and am comfortable caring for multiple children at once.
I am a recently licensed Registered Nurse and certified EMT. In the fall, I will begin working as a NICU nurse. My healthcare experience, including 2 years in the emergency department, has strengthened my ability to stay calm and provide safe, attentive care. I also have experience with children with special needs, from nearly 10 years as a volunteer for CT Special Olympics.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, trying new restaurants, and sailing. I have traveled with nanny families, am comfortable with all pets, conversational in ASL, and have reliable transportation. My goal is to provide a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for your little ones.
