I have done volunteer work at the library with children, as I co-run Storytime occasionally. I have also had experience baby-sitting at church, where I help run the kids program. Also, I am the oldest of 4 children, and often take care of my siblings.

Activities I enjoy doing with children are coming up with fun games and "rides", such as Hide and Seek tag, a pretend "rollercoaster" and Cops and Robbers. All of the kids I have previously babysat have absolutely loved it!

The most important part about being a nanny is putting the kids' needs before your own. You have to believe that they are like your own sister or brother, and take care of them accordingly. Also, it never hurts to make the experience a little fun, too.

My favorite nanny moment was playing hide and seek and hiding in Penny’s child-sized tent, and her peeking inside saying Peek-a-Boo! Her adorable face was scrunched up against the mesh and I couldn’t think of a cuter sight.
