I've worked with special needs on two different times. One family had a boy (3 years old) that have Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome.
Another family I worked for a boy (infant till 3yo) that have autism/ on the spectrum.

I love to see they develop and learn and be part of these sweet moments. For me seeing them learn to walk and talk is the most rewarding part of my job!
