My name is Carly. I am a 24 year old female that graduated from KVCC with an associates in Graphic Design. I have been working at the special education school in my town for about three years now. I coach volleyball at a high school in Three Oaks, season is Aug - first week of November. I love spending time outside, especially with my pets. My free time is usually filled with exercising, playing video games, walking my dogs, or spending time with friends and family. I am so excited to have my own family some day in the future, but for now I will stick to helping other families out while I can!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My babysitting background started when I was in middle school. the occasional babysitting jobs for people I know. I was a live out nanny for a past teacher one summer. I have had child care experience with ages ranging from infant to teens. During my high school years I also volunteered at a church childcare center, I was usually helping in the toddler or infant rooms.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts are some of my favorite activities to do, I have a screen printing business so making cool t-shirts or other clothing items that the kids want will be a blast! Being outdoors is also a great way to spend my time with the little ones. I have always played sports and find joy in being active, playing outdoor games and activities with the kids is always on my to do list.

Making sure that the children you are caring for are learning new things, growing their own personalities, and feeling loved and important while their parents are working.

My experience with special needs children...

I have been working at a special education school for about three years now. I have worked with prevocational, emotionally impaired, and ASD children. These ages range from 10 years old to 25 years old.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite memory of my nanny career was when my two little buddies and I walked to the neighbors house and had a water balloon fight. We teamed up and jumped the neighbors dad with water balloons. We ended the afternoon with ice cream and a funny movie. It was one of the best days I had had with my guys.
