When I was a teacher at a summer school program. I did engaged with a special need child who was very smart! However, there were times that the special need child would get upset about things and I would calmly talk to them so they can be calm, and it worked. I’m a not professional when it comes to special needs children. It was a professional that was with me when I calm them down. The only reason I was able to calm them down because they were comfortable talking to me because I was always present anytime that they needed something or any help
