My name is Carol Fremin. I'm 48, have a B.S. in Early Childhood Education, and am lifetime certified in CPR and First Aid. Working with young kids is my passion, and I love to be creative when it comes to young children. I believe each child is a blessed individual from God and should be respected as such and never left behind in the school system. Safety & keeping their best interest at heart are very important. To me, it only takes a willing heart and a great attitude to change a child's life forever. I know from personal experience cause I was once that child who got left behind, walked all over, called names, had no friends, but I don't let that stop me. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I genuinely played with and looked after the 3 neighborhood kids around me in Louisiana. I was the oldest so I had the responsibility to make sure they were safe, happy, and well-taken caren.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy hands-on activities with young children cause they learn BEST through play.
Examples: Playdough, Art (using pasta), Drawing in sand, Water play, Building blocks, Scavenger hunts, Writing (with pencil & chalk), Reading, Board games, Traditional games, (hide & seek, simon says, etc..), Music with simple objects

The most important thing about being a nanny is ensuring the safety & well-being of the children in your care. This includes protecting children from harm, providing for their basic needs, & fostering a nuturing & supportive environment.

My experience with special needs children...

I have been an occasional sitter where I watched a child with autism. I also used to be an occasional sitter where I watched a child who was born with severe brain issues at birth & had to be in special education her entire school years. Plus, I always loved to play with my cousin that had down syndrome. And myself, I have epilepsy and have been dealing with this since I was born. But, I know it was God's will for me so I take it one day at time and do the best I can with what God gave me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I was trying to feed quadruplet boys. They were 6 months old & were all hungry at the same time. I had them in bouncers on the floor trying to keep up with feeding them. As I was wiping the mouth of 2 of them, I looked over & the dog was licking the baby food drool off the mouths of the other 2 boys. I couldn't help but laugh before I told the dog to go lay down so I could clean up the other 2 boys.
