A little bit about me

I am 22 years old, born in Costa Rica and raised in Denver. I just moved back to Denver after living in Costa Rica for 5 years!

I am currently a special education teacher for Denver Public Schools. Although I truly love my position, I feel as if it is time to dedicate myself to what I truly love... the youngest kiddos! I will be stepping out of the classroom as of May/June 2020.

I have many years of experience with children of all ages. I have nannied since I was in highschool and have loved getting to know different families ever since. I have experience from children as young as 3 weeks old all the way up to 15 year olds!

I have always loved little ones. I am a soccer player and I love the outdoors. I am always willing to adventure, travel and get to know new places and foods. I will always have my inner child in me, I love dressing up, coloring, going to the zoo, the museum, the library, etc!

She is full of new, creative ideas every day and always has answers to our (first time parent) uncertainties. She fills out son with love, she dances with him, sings to him in Spanish, yet sets very clear limits with him which is exactly what we asked of her. She’s also a sleep genie! Hello! My name is Carolina. I am 22 years old, born in Costa Rica and raised in Denver. I am a former special education teacher who recently stepped out of teaching due to the current health situation. I also worked as an elementary school teacher through my 5 years of living in Costa Rica and returned to Denver to pursue my love for little ones. I am an experienced babysitter and Nanny. I completed the Red Cross certification program for baby sitters. I have special training working specifically with children with autism and other special needs up to age 23. I am a fully Bilingual teacher who is responsible, organized and very good at solving problems efficiently. I have a passion for working with children and enjoy working on developmentally appropriate activities with the kiddos. I have my own transportation and am fully bilingual Spanish. I love getting creative and imaginative play. I enjoy getting “messy” with paints, science experiments with older kiddos, sensory play with younger children. I love arts and crafts as well as sports. I played professional soccer for 2 years and love the outdoors as well!
