The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure the kids are safe and well kept. To ensure the parents that I am a trustworthy person and I am responsible. It is to make sure the kids are happy and healthy and get the attention they need. Also to make sure the kids are being well taken care of as well as any other responsibility I may have, such as pets or housework.

My experience with special needs children...

I was part of a program while in middle school where I went and read to the special needs kids. I also had physical education with them and I helped them with tutoring after school.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when a little boy I was watching came up to me, sat on my lap, and just hugged me for a long time. He thanked me for being so fun and playing with them. He smiled. Hopped off my lap and then went and played with the rest of the kids. After that, they all came up to me and gave me a big group hug. I almost cried. It was the sweetest moment.
