When I was growing up, my nanny was my best friend, and I truly believed that she was there just because she wanted to be. And at the same time, she taught me invaluable life lessons and things I still take into account today. I believe whatever child is under my care should feel like they are able to come to me and feel safe, cared for, and respected. I will never raise my voice unless they are in danger. I love working around kids and seeing them explore and learn about the world around them, which is why I volunteer the amount I do.
