A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Carolyn! For the last eight years, I have worked with children ranging from 18 months to pre-teen ages. I have worked primarily in a preschool setting for the majority of the time. In the school setting, I primarily work with children from 3-5 years of age. With the children, I work on morning centers/activities, playing various games, as well as recess fun. I also help them to understand and regulate their emotions and decision-making when needed. At the school, I also help co-run the before- and after-school program, which is geared for kids from 5-12 years of age. I either drop them off or pick them up at school, make sure they have snacks of some kind, provide ample activities, and if there is homework that needs to be done, I provide a quiet area and help if need be to ensure it's completed. For the last year, I have worked as a part-time nanny with two amazing girls ages 2 and 5. I am looking to expand and hopefully add another family to my schedule.
