A little bit about me

I am a Somerville-based recent college grad, and just marked my first year as a professional nanny. After studying photography and art history at Harvard College and attaining a BA in Visual and Environmental Studies, I began homeschooling a kindergartener during the early months of the pandemic and immediately felt drawn to a career in early childhood education. I've since been motivated by a desire to support families in building safe, nurturing, yet beautiful and inspiring childhoods. I strive to bring patience, empathy, and a consent-driven approach to my relationships with children, with a style of care that is always responsive to the needs and interests of the individual child. I'm especially interested in Montessori philosophy, and am currently planning for training and accreditation. Outside of work, I spend time caring for two birds, a cat, and a dog; I love to explore museums, make playlists, and cook vegan food.
