Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Aside from being a stay at home mother for 6 years, now having 3 of my own, I've also nannied two other kids as well for 6weeks between September. They were ages 3&5 so I know I can handle more than just my kids(: I've also been to many ECFE classes and groups for years, honestly one of my favorite things to do with my children(: Arts and crafts are our favorite(: I also homeschool this year so I can help any kids with homework!
I've also grown up with 6 sisters, all younger than me, so I've basically been carrying for children most of my life.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Arts and crafts is definitely at the top of the list but fort building is a very close second (: I like to be creative with children. Let them explore. I love going outside with kiddos, more when it's warm out and compared to the cold, however getting outside is important(: my kids like to cook with me, from meals to desserts it even just snacks(: reading books is always a fun activity too when the kids are patient enough(: Honestly I just enjoy watching kiddos learn, explore and make connections.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Honesty and trust, I make sure there is complete honesty and trust between me and the kids along with me and the parents. With the kids I feel being patient, loving, respectful and understanding is key. Also setting known boundaries while also making sure we are all having a good time is important.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with special needs because my sister Isabelle is disabled and autistic, asking with some other special needs too. I helped my mom take care of her by grinding up her food and feeding her, giving her daily meds, putting her in her stander to gain leg muscle, to helping her with her emotions, helping change her diapers, get dressed ect.
To this day she still needs help with all of those, so I'm very familiar.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I don't think I could pick just one. My favorite is when they use their imaginations though. They can also say the funniest of things.
There was a time when I had just got some fake seaweed in the mail for our turtle. Ender was scoping it out and goes "OH COOL! These are awesome! I wish I had these when I was a turtle!" Hahahaha loved that.
