I have worked a child care job for the children of an adult english learner class. I have also been a teacher assistant for middle school classes for the past three years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
going for walks, playing in the yard or at a park, swimming, watching movies, playing sports or other games, building puzzles, learning colors, drawing, and easy crafts that can be at the house.

having patience and having the ability to explain why you did something or why they can not do something. Kids are curious and need certain things explained to them but that has its own limitations of course.
