A little bit about me

Hello, I am Cassandra or Cass! I have been working on and off as a nanny/babysitter since I was 13 years old. Prior to going to college I was a nanny for multiple families, with children of all ages and gender. After I received my B.A. in Psychology in 2016 I worked for multiple agencies doing early intervention/child development for children ages 1 year to 10 years old for 4 years. I was recently a social worker at a non profit for people with disabilities. I am looking for work while I go back to school to pursue my Master's degree. I love working with kids and being able to be a part of their growth and development through life! Although I am not fluent in Spanish I know a lot of words and phrases (ex: numbers, animals, colors, etc..) that I would love to share with your child/children.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked in early childhood intervention/child development for four years with children from 1 years to 10 years old. I have experience also working specifically with children with disabilities such as autism and other developmental disabilities.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing outdoors is a favorite of mine! I also enjoy doing crafts, playing board games, hide and seek, and pretty much anything that gets us up and moving!

Making sure you are providing activities that aid children's growth and development, as well as being fun!

My experience with special needs children...

As I mentioned above, I have four years experience working with children with disabilities in a direct role providing early childhood intervention/child development. I have also worked on the other side as a social worker for people with disabilities and assisting them with navigating community resources.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have a family with three young children that I babysit for and we always crack each other up when we give each other make overs and then have dance parties with the lights off!
