A little bit about me

My life's work has been with children. I'm a retired preschool teacher/administrator with three children of my own. I began my professional career at 18 as a preschool teacher, then became an early childhood administrator after college. I retired from my church preschool when all my children had outgrown my program. In 2018, I became a certified children's yoga teacher and started a small business teaching yoga, mindfulness and emotional regulation skills to children. I enjoy the work immensely. Now all of my children are almost grown... My youngest is finishing up high school and I will soon have two kids in college. I have no grandchildren to spoil (yet) but lots of love and energy to share! I'm looking for a part-time to full-time nanny position to help fill my time and help with my kids' college expenses. I can drive kids to lessons & outings, help with meals and housework and will actively engage children with imaginative activities, music and movement, books and games.
