A little bit about me

I am an older woman who has done child care and taught preschool and/or taught preschool for over 40 years. I have owned a licensed day care, I have done in home child care, I have been a nanny for many families, and have been lead teacher in a preschool in the toddler room with ages 18 months - 3 years for approximately 15 years.
I have cared for children from infant twins to age 7 in their home. I am Cpr and first aide certified from infant through adult. I am very easy going however, I am not a believer in the new " gentle parenting" approach. I am maybe a bit old school and believe children need to have boundaries and rules. I do not believe spanking is necessary however, a do believe in timing out a child when needed. I have a very loving and caring heart and love for children.
