Hello! My name is Ceci and I am seeking an after school sitting job this school year. I have worked as a camp counselor and care assistant for a special needs child, as well as sitting. I am very creative and upbeat, and love musical theater, art, and animals. I volunteer at NISHA and have honor role grades. At my last high school I was awarded the Sail Award, was apart of the National Juniors Honor Society, and was an active member in the Arts Department. I am sad the certified and about to receive my CPR certification. I have my permit and will have my license shortly, but thankfully everything is close by on the island! The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a sitter is listening to what children need and have the patience to get through any tantrums or hard days. I want to have an impact on kids lives and make them excited to see me. I look up to the sitters I had when I was little for inspiration.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for children with epilepsy, autism, cerebral palsy, type 1 diabetes, and allergies. I am trained to administer epi-pens, glucagons, and diazepam in emergency situations. I also have allergies so it makes it easier to connect with children with allergies and be extra careful

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment with creating an entire chalk city with kids and riding our bikes on the “roads”. We even had a Dunkin’ Donuts drive through!
