I have worked in children's ministry for many years, and I have also led in VBS.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

When babysitting, I like to have fun with the kids and keep them engaged and having fun! It depends on the age of the children and what there interest are, but I few things that I like to do with them is, playing games rather thats hide and seek or board games, going outside and having outdoor activites depending on what you have available for us to do. I am also good with chilling and watching a movie with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think being a nanny is an important job, because a parent is intrusting, you with their children and that's a serious thing to consider when deciding to be a babysitter or nanny. I think the most important part about being a nanny is keeping the kids safe and also engaging with the kids so that they know you are there for them and they are having fun.

My experience with special needs children...

I have done a special needs VBS, where I was partnered with a child to be with and tend to throughout the day! I don't have that much experience but I would love to babysit a special needs child and learn more about them and what they personaly need.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have multiple fun and sweet memories with babysitting over the years, but the first one that came to mind, was when I babysat for a family with 4 kids, under the age of 6 and I babysat them pretty regularly. This family went to my church and were closer family friends, and they would ask questions about God and were very curious and wanted to know Him and more about who God was. So it was just a sweet thing to be able to be apart in discipling young children and answering their questions about God and see their knowledge grow and their hearts for others grow as well.
