A little bit about me

Since 2016 I have worked as a SPED preschool assistant (ages 3-5) but have experience sitting kiddos of all ages, in 2021 I had my own classroom of 10 kiddos (ages 18 months- 2 years old) in a daycare. I also covered in other classrooms when necessary (infant - school aged). I love physical activities, crafts and trying anything new that your children(s) may enjoy! With me your children will receive appropriate and nourishing care, willing to do additional tasks as needed. Personally I am an organizer, planner and multitasker so minimal/no supervision is required.

I am a Level 2 Certified CO Early Childhood Professional as well as CPR/First Aid certified. With all of my skills and experience I am able to provide a supervised, safe and fun environment for you little one(s).

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Since 2016 I have worked as a teachers assistant for preschoolers (ages 3-5 years old) and from May 2021-January 2022 i ran my own daycare classroom of up to 10 students (12-24 months old) as well as covering other classrooms when necessary (infant-school age). I have over 150+ hours of professional development in early childhood care, am a Certified Level 2 CO Early Childhood Professional, I am CPR/First-Aid Certified and I am currently working to gain my CDA Credentials.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love physical activities, crafts and trying anything new your child(s) may enjoy! I don’t believe any child should sit around watching tv all day so I want to make everyday as exciting and new as possible!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure parent(s) and families know that I am a reliable caregiver. I want families to know that with me, their child(s) will not only be safe but also have fun!
I also understand that finding great childcare for a reasonable price is hard to find these days. While I appreciate $20/hr for my experience, I try my hardest to work with families financially.

My experience with special needs children...

In my first position in Early Childhood Education I was an educational assistant at a Special Education inclusive preschool for 4 years. I worked with students who were diagnosed with as little as speech therapy to children who were blind, autistic and/or ADHD, etc. In my experience I have worked with all shapes and sizes of little learners and believe everyone deserves an inclusive education. No task is too big or too small to give a child their necessary care. While I may not be fluent in all care I am a fast learner and am prepared to do whatever necessary for any child!
