Growing up, I wasn’t a “ipad kid” so I didn’t use screens very much by watching lots of tv or videos or playing digital games, and that helped me to think much more creatively as a kid. The most important part for me would be to make sure any activity they’re doing, they’re having fun and it’s creatively engaging!
