With over 6 years of experience in the childcare field, I recognized my passion for early childhood education as a Learning Instructor for grades K-2 in 2017. I then transitioned into a Behavior Specialist role and supported elementary and middle school-aged children to build healthy emotional and behavioral skills. At the height of the pandemic, I decided to go back to school and pursue my bachelor's degree in History at UC Berkeley. During my time as a full-time student, I began nannying for a family with an 18-month-old and a 6-year-old and worked with them for 2 years.

My favorite nanny moment with my last family was when the parents expressed how much their 18-month-old (at the time) has developed strong social-emotional skills that translated to making the parents' lives easier when I was not there. Knowing that my daily interactions and child-care philosophies made a positive impact on this family is why I am passionate about the work that I do.
