Hi! My name is Chantrél. I am First-Aid & CPR certified, and I have clean driving & criminal records. I adore children, and I believe they are our future. It's very important for children to be surrounded by love and engulfed in a nurturing environment. I am selfless, patient, and loyal. I do not have children of my own, but I hope to have some one day! I have 9+ years of experience and have even cared for my own nieces and nephews since birth; children are where my heart is. I have experience working with infants, toddlers, and school age children up to middle school. I have worked in a Christian childcare development center, a private school, and have taken care of countless family members' & friends' children. Providing care and love to children is ingrained within me.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experiece working in a child development center, working in a private learning academy doing afterschool care, participating/chaperoning summer camps, and volunteering in my local community center with tutoring and extra curricular activities. I have childcare experience ranging from infants to young teens. I come from a large family, so I am blessed to have been able to take care of children for years. I changed my first diaper at 8 years old, and the rest is history!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing various activities with children like singing, crafts, art, learning, educational games, and playing! I find early learning and reading so fulfilling, and I like teaching young learners phonics. Being a singer myself, I adore teaching through songs, jingles, and music because I believe it helps retain information. I enjoy being able to do fun cooking activities with them as well such as cupcake decorating, topping pizzas, and even finding good ways to incorporate healthier foods into their diet such as "ants on a log," smoothies, or fruit pizzas - anything that allows them to be involved besides the actual cooking process or slicing. Whatever safely sparks a child's interest and expands their mental, emotional, and physical health, I am willing to do!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being able to have a positive impact in a child's life is so important to me. Creating a safe environment where children are comfortable being themselves and always feel loved is my goal. Instead of being a role model, I pride myself in being a REAL model to them. Young children are sponges, so it's imperative that they are surrounded by good things and good people. Instilling a great sense of self esteem, joy, morals, and values is crucial to a developing mind. Letting them know that they are more than capable of accomplishing any dream or goal they have, that they are more than worthy, more than enough, and more than deserving of every ounce of peace, love, joy, and success this world has to offer. Some say, "the sky is the limit," but I say there IS NO limit to the greatness and potential inside you. There is no limit to what you can accomplish. Always be respectful, kind, and willing to forgive, but never be afraid to stand for what is right.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for premature infants and a child with down syndrome. I have administered insulin injections for a diabetic child. I have experience taking care of children with various food allergies. A chef by trade, I am well versed in avoiding certain foods and finding alternatives.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Something that will never get old to me is when a child makes or draws a picture just for me. It always warms my heart! The excitement and pride on their faces when they accomplish something or learn a new thing is priceless :)
