A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Chapin (pronounced Chay-pin). I am a bubbly and motivated mom who absolutely loves babies and toddlers. I have a toddler of my own who is a wonderful playmate that I am in the process of homeschooling (loosely, due to her age - but ramping up to full time homeschooling). I would love to be able to integrate this with your toddler as they grow older.

My work experience recently has been professional prior to having my daughter - I spent 8 years in the Army Reserve as an Officer, and in various sales/administrative/HR roles. I enjoyed office life, but mom life is so much better! It truly was always my passion working with kids, and still is. I babysat/nannied all throughout my teens, and nannied for families in my early twenties. I'm trying to get back to my roots of what I love and what never felt like a job to me!

I love to bring children to the park and get used to moving their body/able to maneuver around the park. Budget permitting, I love children's museums and other kid-friendly activities as well. Inside, crafts are always fun - but I think that imaginary play is also important.
