Hi there!
I am Charina and I am a certified special education teacher. I have worked with children of varying special needs for the last 10 years and love helping them accomplish big things!
I am opening an in home daycare to create a space for more individual attention and learning as well as to build life long relationships.
We will do lots of learning! We will learn about ourselves and our world, letters and numbers, social skills, and more. We will also have short devotionals each day.

I have been a special education teacher for the last 6 years. Before that, I worked in a inclusive daycare setting with infants to 4 years old.
I also have 3 sweet babies of my own!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing arts and crafts, field trips (especially the zoo!), scavenger hunts, music and movement, and simply playing together.

My experience with special needs children...

As a special education teacher, I have worked with children with large varying needs. I am very comfortable with medical needs such as feeding tubes, as well as social/emotional needs. I believe that every child can learn, just not on the same day or in the same way.
