Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked in child care centers and elementary schools for years. In 1998, I decided to open my privately owned Family Child Care Home, in Fort Lauderdale, which was Licensed and Monitored for over 20 years through Broward County Chiid Care Licensing and Enforcement. Upon retiring in 2018, I became a nanny experienced in working with individual and twin children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like doing age appropriate activities with each child. This consists of, but not limited to, tummy time, cuddles, reading, singing, dancing, colors, coloring, alphabet, numbers, stroller walks, nature walks, etc.

I love being a nanny, because I get to be a part of the child's different stages of growth, literally seeing changes and milestones.

I've had many special nanny moments, but the moment that stands out is when I sponsored a surprise birthday party for a 3 year old who had never had a party. The look on her face and the excitement of jumping up and down was priceless.
