When my children were very young, I was a preschool teacher. I took on a teaching roll so that my children could be with me always also to teach other children as well. I started dashing when the pandemic hit so that I could still help people in a way that had meaning and still allowed me to feel like I was doing meaningful work. I ended up enjoying it completely and made it my career. Since the severity of the pandemic has lightened so much though, the income just isn't covering the expenses I have. Work mixed with play is my method of doing things.. I definitely don’t enjoy all work and no play but I do value education and growth. In addition I’ve been very involved with the children’s ministry at my church, along with the additional babysitting job here and there. Spending time with kids is one of my favorite things; they’re so entertaining and rewarding to watch grow.
