Hello! My name is Lovey, and I am super passionate about my work in childcare.
I have 6 years of sleep away camp counseling and coordinating experience, which has allowed me to obtain numerous certifications and work with children of every age group.
My certifications include:
CPR, First Aid, Lifegaurd, Mental Health First Aid, Wilderness First Aid, and other miscellaneous recreational and instruction certifications. I can also provide reference information and three state background checks if requested.
I am also Psychology major, and Political Science and English minor. Therefore, I have a large passion for education, especially for our youth.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts are a major part of my expertise with children. I excel in calligraphy, painting, woodworking, beading, bracelet weaving, and other elementary and simple crafting. I believe hands on work with kids is highly important.

Parks and hikes are important as well. I love to stimulate children with outdoor activity. I am not a fan of children sitting inside and watching television all day. I encourage kids to go outside and play or explore.

Music and dance is important to me as well. I was a dance instructor for 4 years, and I also believe in music being a pivotal key aspect in the learning process for kids.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe that the most important part about being a nanny is being passionate about child care. This job requires a lot of heart and enthusiasm and love for what you’re doing. Without those things, one simply could not be the best fit for any job such as being nanny.

I have experience in working with kids with behavioral issues and disorders, and children who are autistic, on all levels of the spectrum.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I absolutely love it when kids are excited about telling or showing their parents what they’ve done during their time with me. Often kids are very excited to relay this information seeing as perhaps care providers before me didn’t do as much with the kids as I do. It’s always heartwarming and breaking at the same time to leave and have kids not want me to go or beg for me to come back every single day!
