More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've worked with children my whole life. When I was younger and in daycare I took care of a young boy who had special needs and seizures constantly. I was the only person trusted to take care of him. I've been babysitting since I was 12 and I take any opportunity given to me that involves children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy watching movies with them, taking them to the park, taking them swimming, taking them for walks with the dogs, finding/creating new activities and etc..

The most important part about being a nanny...

Building a bond and form of trust with the parent(s) and the kid(s). Its okay to ask for help and if I can be the person to help it would be just amazing. I have a HUGE passion for helping people and a HUGE passion for kids. So it goes hand in hand. I feel as if the most important part of being a nanny is going to be building that bond and letting them know you are there for them when they need you.

My experience with special needs children...

When I was younger, I was in daycare and there was this boy who was special needs and had constant seizures. While saying that, I must also add that I was the only person trusted to take care of him. Kids with special needs take more time and attention but I love showing kids attention so it works out perfectly!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment would definitely have to be bonding, because to me bonding could mean soooo many different things. Like going and getting snowcones, or in my case I like to train my dogs and kids LOVEEE to help. Seeing the smiles on their faces is definitely my goal in the end because that's my favorite moment of all time.
