Activities I enjoy doing with children...
When I am spending time with younger kids, I enjoy being present with them as they soak in the world around them. Being outside, playing with art when their old enough, or just giving them new experiences to grow through.
When I am spending time with older kids, I enjoy utilizing games, puzzles, learning what they hold interest in, offering arts and crafts, hide and seek. Also, outdoor activities are always a win.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Knowing deeply that I am in this role as an energetic influence on children, and to do my best to be as loving and firm for them in the wavering emotional states as they grow and develop.
Being present in the awareness of the developmental stages of little ones is something I hold interest in as I know different stages require different needs. Consideration goes a long way with children and I also believe that to be true for adults.

There's so many to consider! Likely some time helping a little understand how to play with something, or learning new ways of playing from a little. I love the moments where they surprise me with their moments of growth.
I remember the first time I heard the baby I nannied at the time say "Oh Wow!" at something I had just said "Oh Wow" and it still stays with me today.
I remember being with a set of 3 siblings and taking them to the river beach and how much fun it was to find something new to do with the space and what nature provides such as playing in the water, skipping rocks and building sand castles/cakes.
