A little bit about me

Hi my name is Cheryl, I have been working with children for a little over 19yrs. This includes working as an Infant, Toddler and Pre-School Teacher in a couple of Day Care's and as a Nanny for 6 amazing families over the course of my career.The things they say and do can't help but put a smile on your face. I’ve bathed, diapered and fed many children from 6wks to preteen. The duties as a Teacher in the Daycare setting included; Feeding the babies, changing them, Bubble play,Finger Painting, Outside play and carriage walks etc. As a Nanny for my families,my responsibilities were: Getting the kids ready for school, helping out with getting them dressed, breakfast and taking them to School or Day Care. Making snacks and sometimes getting their lunches ready for the next day and picking them up for School. Sometimes would host playdates and bring them to and from activities etc. I'm a non smoker and am CPR/First Aid certified. Thank you for your time.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Pretend role played as princesses and Princes. Arts & crafts and indoor board games. Outside; played soccer, basketball, baseball and hockey. Played with sidewalk chalk, played in the sandbox, went on walks to the park, went to local playgrounds and visited the local Library for story time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It is a very rewarding job and wouldn't change it for the world. Love what I do. From the first time I started working with Children til today. Children are a blessing and funny little people,who's smiles are contagious. Truly a joy to be around.

The most important part about being a nanny...

There are so many but one was when my little buddy Kyle almost two yrs old tried to say my name for the 1st time, it was so comical. It was one of those you had to be there moments it was so funny. Another was when Katelyn his sister and I gave Ariel princess a Birthday party, with party hats and a little cupcake with a candle on it. It was so cute. Katelyn is now 18 and I still talk about it whenever I get a chance to see her. Kyle now 16 always mentions the many times we played sports and went on our adventures.
