A little bit about me

Hi! Im a 52 year old mom of 4 grown children, and 1, 12 yr old grandson. I was a licensed daycare provider for multiple years, putting my husband thru UF. After that, we had our children. I started a career in nursing amd worked for Mayo on intensive neuro/neruo surgical unit. Decided 15 years was long enough and went back to school in Massage Therapy. I have my own business with same clients Ive established over 10 years. I am fortunate to have flexibility and am looking for extra cash to tuck away for retirement. Miss having littles to be goofy with, and those snuggle up and read book moments. I think its the looks of "give me more", Im a sponge that I love the most. Did I mention that I have 7 more grandchildren?? Lol
My husband and I have been married for 32 years and have created (not biased at all) something that most people dream about. We arent wealthy, we have stress and bills like everyone else....but the love is hard for anyone to hold a candle to♥️

Owned an licensed home daycare for 5 years while my husband went to University of Florida.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Swimming lessons, worked with a curriculum from a predominant leader in education. Basic prek-1st levels. Went on multiple field trips...some educational, some for fun! Really...fun is also learning on many levels.

My experience with special needs children...

Was a nanny for an infant born without eyes, and with a twisted esophagus leading to stomach being inside out. LOTS of special needs for him. Took him to most specialist appointments and procedures. Mom and Dad both white collar workers with extremely demanding schedules. Also, while running my daycare business, had a child with CP. Had therapists coming to my home for treatment and learned quite a bit with her as well.
