I am an older sister, so growing up I had to take care of my little brother all the time. I would prepare his lunch and snacks for school, while also laying out his clothes for the morning, but I loved it, getting to grow that bond while also having a new sense of responsibility was exciting for me!

The most important part about being a nanny...
I really care about the mental development of children, and making sure they know they have a platform to speak and express their emotions. I feel like a lot of the time they feel misunderstood and have a difficult time articulating their feelings, so my goal is to make them feel safe and confident To ensure that they know they are loved and heard.

My amazing cousin is autistic and I’ve watched over him many times. He is nonverbal, so I am able to comprehend when he needs anything.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One time when I was watching over my cousin, we played this cute game where we held a blanket up and down, kind of like the parachute game in elementary school, and he loved it! It was adorable!
