Hi! My name is Cheyenne, I’m 22 years old and currently a senior in college finishing my degree in Public Health. After graduating, I plan to attend nursing school because I’m very passionate about working with and caring for others.

I have several years of experience working with children, including time spent working in daycares as well as nannying for families. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how important patience, communication, and creating a safe, fun environment for kids really is. I love helping children learn, grow, and feel supported while also making sure they’re having fun.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy planning simple activities that help babies learn and stay engaged throughout the day. I like doing things like sensory play with different textures and toys, reading board books, and incorporating music and movement by singing or dancing with them. I also love getting babies outside for stroller walks or spending time on a blanket in the yard or at a park so they can experience fresh air and new surroundings. Throughout the day I try to talk and interact with them as much as possible because it helps with early language and social development while keeping things fun and engaging.

My experience with special needs children...

The only child with special needs that I have cared for had Asperger’s, which helped me gain experience with patience, understanding, and adapting to a child’s individual needs.
