Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked at a school/daycare in Brighton. I worked with children who’s ages ranged from babies to teens! I was a floater so I would go in every single room (the rooms were based off the the ages of the children) throughout my shifts of the week. We would have a schedule that we followed which included snacks, reading time, outdoor time, nap time…etc.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love nature so I love going on walks, going to parks, ice cream, even just playing in the backyard. I also love helping straighten the brain so I love reading to children and teaching them new things.
The most important part about being a nanny...
You’re responsible for someone’s child(ren) at the end of the day so everything about that is very important but the most important part in my opinion is: making sure the child(ren) feel safe and comfortable with me. I love bonding with kids, it’s a real heart tugger.
My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have much, but my cousin is special needs and I would help my aunt out with him every once in a while.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment, one that I’ll never forget is this little girl I was watching, she’s was absolutely adorable, she was 1 year old and she would always smile so so hard when she saw me which I loved but one day she was really sleepy and she came up to me, literally grinned so hard and then hugged me and fell asleep on my lap.
