Taking care of children has been a big part of my life growing up. After receiving my babysitting certificate in 2004 from the Monroe Hospital and Clinic in Monroe, WI I wanted to get started right away and started with the Buholzer Family. I watched the family's two twin infant sons, 2 year old son, and 10 year old son every weekend and sometimes on week nights. On school day I would watch and entertain the the 10 year old boy. In 2006 I started working with the Erdley family that consisted of a girl and later a boy that I took care of every day during the summer and almost every weekend during the year. During this time I watched the Moore family's little girl whom they had just addopted from Guatemala. She was very shy and would not go to anyone so you can imagine how suprised and happy the parents were when I was the first person in her new home that the little girl warmed up to. She was always so precious and fun to be around. I have also watched my brother who is three years younger than me and my sister who is 14 1/2 years younger than me. My sister was born before my freshman year of high school and my mom needed a lot of help watching and entertaining my sister, Lilly. This experience was great because not only was I taking care of and entertaining this child but also watching her grow into a smart and beautiful little girl. In the past I have cared for children with physical and mental impairments such as children who were sight impaired and children with learning dissabilities. In order for us to have a safe and wonderful time I altered my routine a little to meet their needs but yet treat them like the normal and incredible children they are. I love caring for children and to handle any situation good and bad with them and to become part of their childhood. I believe that the childhood of a person is one of the most important stages of their life which will always be remembered and for me to have the opportunity to be a part of that is a special thing.

I have over 15 years of childcare experience working for multiple families. I have outstanding references thanks to the relationships I've built, as I continue to stay in touch with most of the families I've worked with. My schedule is extremely flexible and I am used to catering to the needs of busy professionals such as doctors, corporate executives, etc. I am Red Cross Certified and First Aid trained. I love caring for children and find great fulfillment in my child care work. I've raised two of my own children and have two grandchildren whom I love dearly.

I have a very wide range of child care experience. I come from a family with 16 cousins on one side and 9 on the other all varying in age. Children and experiences with them were not hard to come by. So, since I was just a child I've been caring and surrounded by children. I started babysitting when I was 12 for family friends whom thought I was very mature for my age and do continue to babysit. I also have experience babysitting as a community service with the local xx group in which I would babysit for an hour and a half and the amount of children would range for just one or two to 12 or so. I have also worked with a child whom had behavioral issues and violent tendencies, which was challenging but rewarding as he learned to respect me and I understand him.

I started babysitting my first nephew Tyler when I was 13 years old. He was only 6 months old when I started to babysit him for a few hours when I would get home from school. I didn't baby sit any other kids until I was 18. My brother and his wife had a baby boy named Luke. I would babysit for him all the time. I love my little nephews! then a year later they popped out a second child, a girl this time named Maddy and the year after that another girl Ava joined our family. I have babysat everyone of them from just a couple months old. I could spend the whole day with them. When I did babysit them it was usually only two or three at a time. I stopped being available to baby sit for them when I had my own baby and picked up a temporary nanny position. I nanny two girls ages 3 and 5, M-F from 8-5. I love those girls but the position is only temporary.

I have worked with many families babysitting since I was 13 (at this age I became certified by the red cross for babysitting). Most of my Nanny experience comes from working with a family of 3 children ages 3-12 over two summers. I learned quickly that a predictable schedule full of art, play, napping, reading, outside time, and (limited) movie/tv watching was the best way for the kids to get the most out of their summer. We also took advantage of free community activities and trips to the local beach.

As a parent, it’s natural for you to ask your nanny for a little extra help around the house. However, the boundaries for a nannies duties vary from person to person.
