A little bit about me

I am 18 years old, turning 19 in August. I have worked in many different places and I have always found myself really good with children. When my parents divorced and remarried they both and more children, my younger siblings, that I’ve watching over 1,000 times in the last 10 years. I have also babysat for family friends with small children and even sometimes adults when they’ve had to much to drink. I love to talk and I can also do some simple cleaning around the house!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have done volunteer work with children throughout the last ten years along with babysitting all four of my younger siblings as they’ve gotten old. I helped over at Hobbit Hill during the summers and when I got into high school I would go to elementary schools and read to children

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am more than willing to go anything the child likes to do. I’m 18 years old and can still move with the little ones as much as they want. I love to read, bake, play soccer and I’d love to share that with other children that aren’t just my siblings

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny to me is keeping the children happy. No matter what it is I love to make them feel like they are the priority. I also love to problem solve, if something is going wrong I try to fix it as fast as possible to continue the joy. I never had the best childhood and only want to make it memorable for them because they are living life too!

My experience with special needs children...

I have watched many children with special needs and also taken time to work with them. Project Unify in school was a great way to reach out into the community and connect other special children and find someone like them so they don’t feel so alone

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was watching a one year old boy not that long ago and the family used boxes as castle pieces and one of the boxes was cut to have a window in it. I got up to turn the TV off so we could play on the floor and by the time I turned around he was climbing through the little window and luckily I caught him or he would have landed right on the doggy!!
