A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Chloe Zachary, I’m 25 years old and have over 6 years of childcare experience in daycare centers and homes. Working with kids has and will always be my favorite kind of work. I have a year of early childhood education training under my belt including deeply studying hands on and child led forms of teaching and learning. I have experience with kiddos as young as 4 weeks to 14 years old, including children with special care needs.
One of my favorite hobbies is painting, so working art into a kiddos day is important to me. I enjoy reading books, cooking and outdoor playtime. Homework help is also something I’m glad to participate in.
I’m a strong believer in short screen time for young brains and therefore prefer to entertain kiddos with non-technological activities.
I do work a full time 50 hour a week job, running a dinner restaurant in West Hollywood. But I am looking to fill a morning or two a week with some kiddo time!

From 2012 to 2017 I worked in a health club childcare room. Caring for children from the ages of four weeks to thirteen years old. The sole employee in the room during shifts, I was responsible for as many as 17 to 20 children ranging in age at any time. We did trips to the park, pizza and movie nights and kiddo yoga!

My experience with special needs children...

While working in my childcare, I cared for new borns with down-syndrome and numerous school aged kiddos on the autism spectrum. My younger brother also has Autism so I have extensive experience being around and communicating with kiddos who have these incredible brains.
