My name is Christian Vilter, I am a junior at Shakopee high school. I have a 3.9 GPA. I am in Youth in government, National business honors society and I am a student ambassador. I also play soccer. I have work experience including 2 years of refereeing children. The past 6 months working at Dakotah! sport and fitness (running the bowling alley). A summer of watching an 8 year old boy. I have also done nannying for a 3 year old and 5 year old girls. My family has always had children around with my mom being a day care provider, and former respite care provider+ foster care provider.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am very flexible, I would love to do sports activities with the kids outside. I have played baseball, basketball, football, soccer, golf and tennis throughout my life. I also have done classes in cooking so I if the kids are into baking that is definitely something we could do together. I also enjoy video games and movies, I could definitely spend some time indoors doing that also. I am very flexible and can work what we do around the kids and their interests.

My experience with special needs children...

I have had special needs children around periodically throughout my childhood, my mom and dad have done both foster care and respite care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

In a summer when I watched my 9 year old cousin, we would go to a bible school weekly that I volunteered for and after we would walk to get icee’s at target. He always loved that part of the day.
