I am currently a full time teacher at a local private preschool. I currently teach the summer enrichment program for children ages 3-5.
In addition to my full time teaching job throughout the school year, I work with our local church children’s ministry program on Wednesday nights, assisting with bible study lessons for children ages 3-7.

I love to learn what a child’s interests are and explore further from there. For example, if a child loves nature or is curious about the outdoors, I try to incorporate that in the day’s activities.
If a child seems curious about art, I encourage that child to explore their creativity.

As I mentioned in my introduction, a child’s safety & wellbeing are top priorities and a great childcare provider can maintain that while also fostering enrichment and engagement.

I have experience working with special needs children both in the classroom and in the home setting. Some of the special needs I have experience in childcare with are O.D.D., A.S.D., A.D.H.D., D.S./T21.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I once was a nanny to 3 children and we decided we wanted to start a container fruit & vegetable garden. Turns out the only food we grew that season fed the local wildlife including a raccoon family. It was a little disappointing not getting to enjoy the “fruits” of our labor but seeing the children so entertained watching the wildlife, the disappointment quickly faded. We even put up a camera to record our raccoon friends during their late night buffet dinners.
