We were on a playground with the children that we cared for at the time and there was instant chemistry between us and a friendship followed that has lasted to this day. She was caring for a 1 year old boy at the time and I was instantly so impressed by the way she cared for him. My experience with special needs children...
I worked with the brother of one of my children who I cared for every other day of the week. When I met him he was 6 yrs old. He has asburger and very intense sensory issues. He is loving and sweet but a big challenge. I'm proud to say he is now in college and thriving.

My goodness their are so many. I've taught kids to walk, talk, ride a bike, dance, read, sing, swim...the list goes on. I consider all moments with children special.
